A bit about Meg,
Owner of The Beauty Barn
​I have worked in the industry for over 10 years and thrive in making people feel great about themselves. I offer a wide range of beauty treatments including waxing, eyelash extensions, massage, facials ect. I started my training at Exeter College and then progressed to the University of Derby where I gained my Bachelor degree in International Spa Management. My experience in the industry has had me working in all kinds of environments like hotel spas, small day spas, beauty salons and even working abroad in Greece. I have worked with a number of different brands but in the salon I use: Temple Spa for facials, Perron Rigot for hot waxing, Lush Lase and Lash Base for eyelash extensions, Beautiful Brows for eyelash lifts, The Gel Bottle for gels and their sister brand Peacci for normal varnish.

Rachel is an experienced massage therapist trained in Sport, deep tissue, hot stone and Swedish massage.
She uses a range of these, and trigger point techniques, to release muscular tension which can then lead to a decrease in physical pain, mental stress and can assist with your general wellbeing.
Rachel treats a variety of clients who can be experiencing specific muscular tension and pain or suffering with high stress and anxiety or may just need a massage for an overall de-stress and body maintenance.
By adapting the pressure and use of techniques her treatments are tailored to you.

Debbie Hands Holistic Massage Therapy
After qualifying as a dental nurse in 1997, Debbieworked in maxillofacial surgery at Derriford Hospital.
It was caring for patients with head and neck pain, and TMJ disorder that led her to train in massage therapy so she could help others suffering with stress and tension. In 2002 she gained her qualification.
Debbie's husband is in the Royal Navy and in 2004 they moved overseas with our young family. Whilst based in Brunei they travelled through South East Asia where her passion for massage and holistic therapies deepened.
Returning to Devon, Debbie worked as a teaching assistant whilst raising her two children.
Having decided to enhance her skills in massage therapy and pursue training in a variety of techniques, in July of 2022 she founded Debbie Hands – Holistic Massage Therapy, and have been welcoming clients ever since.
